Yamaha R1 4XV W Reg

Purchased from Padgett’s Motorcycles in Leeds in May 2013, I am only the second owner of this bike. Over the past 13 years it has been meticulously maintained and cared for, with regular servicing carried out by myself and a trusted local motorcycle workshop.

While I haven’t retained many receipts for parts and maintenance over the years, the bike has never wanted for anything and has always been maintained regardless of cost. It was dyno tested a few years ago and still produced an impressive 140bhp, remarkable performance for a 26-year-old machine.

The bike is MOT’d until April 2027 and is fitted with tyres that are a couple of years old but have seen very little use, leaving them with plenty of tread remaining. Cosmetically, it presents extremely well, with only a few minor stone chips to the front fairing consistent with age and use. Aside from this, the bike is in excellent condition throughout.

Included in the sale are all of the original parts required to return the bike to standard specification, along with the original Yamaha toolkit which remains under the seat.

This is an increasingly rare opportunity to own a well-cared-for, honest example that has been cherished by a long-term owner. I am confident the next owner will be delighted with the bike.
